Montana Nonprofit Association (MNA) is seeking proposals for a contractor to update our Foundation Directory. This contractor will work to update and expand our Foundation Directory for a 2026 release.

MNA’s Foundation Directory is one of our most-used resources, with over 500 downloads since its release in 2022. The Foundation Directory is a free resource for all Montana based nonprofit professionals and organizations to help identify potential funding sources and improve relationship development between organizations and funders.

The scope of work for this RFP will include working with MNA to define updates to questionnaire, reaching out to existing funders to update profiles via email, phone calls, and in person meetings if needed, expanding funder profiles from 43 to 60, creating a database of information, and finalizing copy for design.

Excellent applicants for this RFP will demonstrate experience working with foundations, high levels of professional courtesy, an ability to work collaboratively, and a record of timeliness and attention to detail.

  • Develop outreach method + plan
  • Begin contacting funders for profile updates
  • Work in partnership with MNA to solicit funder support + ads

December 15th

  • Final copy for PDF due
  • Final database due

Budget

$6,500 with flexibility after determining final scope of work.
