Training and Event FAQs

February 24, 2022 • By: MNA, Montana Nonprofit Association

Q: Are Sessions Recorded?

A: Unless otherwise noted, all online training sessions are recorded. Attendees can access recordings and resources through our LMS, Thinkific, for six months after the course. If this is the first course you have taken with MNA, you will get an email from Thinkific to create an account. If you’ve already taken an MNA course, login to your account (https://mtnonprofit.thinkific.com) and the course will be automatically added to your “courses” on your dashboard the day before the course begins. If you haven’t received this email please email karpin@mtnonprofit.org.

Q: What is a whole org registration?

A: This allows your entire team to register for a training at one flat rate. This includes your board and staff and does not have a limit.

Q: How do I add attendees to my whole org registration?

A: When registering, we encourage you to add your team members on the second page of registration. You’ll just need their names, titles, and emails. If you have team members to add after registration, please email mna@mtnonprofit.org with your organization name, the primary registrant’s name, and the names, titles, and emails of the team members you’d like to add.

Q: I haven’t gotten a confirmation email! What do I do?

A: If you are the primary registrant, you will receive a confirmation email including a receipt immediately upon registering. A confirmation will not be sent to other attendees. You can forward the bottom half of the confirmation email along to your registered teammates so they can save the information. We will send emails with event details to all registrants two weeks, one week, and the day prior to the event start date, as well as after each session. If you haven’t received these scheduled emails, please email karpin@mtnonprofit.org.

Q: I am receiving an error about selecting a ticket package and cannot add tickets to the drop-down option.

A: The box that you need to enter tickets into is at the very top of the page. Enter “1” for the whole org or individual registration. That will auto fill the drop-down box.

Q: What technology do you use for virtual trainings?

A: Our live sessions are hosted in Zoom and recorded. Make sure you’ve downloaded and are using the latest version of Zoom. Download Zoom. Attendees will have access to resources and recordings for six months through our LMS, Thinkific. You will receive a notification the day before the event start date to set up a login with Thinkific and will be able to access recordings and resources there as needed. If you cannot access your account, please email karpin@mtnonprofit.org or srogala@mtnonprofit.org. Your Thinkific account will be on file for future trainings.

Q: I would like to request an accommodation so that I can participate in a training.

A. MNA strives to ensure access to all of our trainings. If you would like to make a request so that you can participate fully, please email srogala@mtnonprofit.org or call 406-449-3717.

Q: Are there any professional development credits available for your trainings?

For in-person events, we will adhere to our COVID-19 Event Protocols. MNA reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or shift events to a virtual setting given conditions in the area.
