Joan Garry is an internationally recognized nonprofit leadership expert, author, and founder of the Nonprofit Leadership Lab. A former executive director of GLAAD, Joan now advises nonprofit leaders and boards on fundraising, strategy, and organizational growth. Through her consulting, speaking, and popular podcast, *Nonprofits Are Messy*, she offers practical guidance—with candor and humor—to help mission-driven organizations build stronger leadership and greater impact.
Joining Joan is Glennda Testone, CEO of the Nonprofit Leadership Lab and a nonprofit leader with more than 25 years of experience. Before joining the Lab, Glennda spent 14 years as executive director of New York City’s LGBT Community Center and held leadership roles at GLAAD and the Women’s Media Center. She brings deep expertise in organizational growth, leadership, advocacy, and building thriving nonprofit communities.
