Julie Chang

Julie is a first-generation Chinese American and a dedicated nonprofit professional with over 25 years of experience. As Director of Programming at Utah Nonprofits Association, Julie specializes in community engagement, leadership development, and fostering inclusive spaces. Growing up in Fairbanks, Alaska, as a child of immigrants, Julie has a deep understanding of identity and cultural dynamics, which has fueled their work leading AAPI-focused community groups and facilitating conversations around belonging and access. Julie is passionate about ensuring diverse voices are heard and valued. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new things, being surrounded by nature, and playing with her adopted cat, Talkeetna.
