Julie Chang

Julie is a first-generation Chinese American and a dedicated nonprofit professional with over 25 years of experience. As Director of Programming at Utah Nonprofits Association, Julie specializes in community engagement, leadership development, and fostering inclusive spaces. Growing up in Fairbanks, Alaska, as a child of immigrants, Julie has a deep understanding of identity and cultural dynamics, which has fueled their work leading AAPI-focused community groups and facilitating conversations around belonging and access. Julie is passionate about ensuring diverse voices are heard and valued. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new things, being surrounded by nature, and playing with her adopted cat, Talkeetna.

This call takes place on the first Tuesday of each month.

Designed for nonprofit leaders and staff who recognize themselves as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, this free monthly offering provides space and opportunity to connect with other nonprofit community members to share challenges, opportunities, and celebrations. Centering the experiences of participants, this call will offer time to connect, share stories, and develop relationships with other leaders facing similar circumstances across Montana. This community is a safe, respectful, and confidential space for sharing and connection.
